Microsoft 365 Business Premium combines Office applications and cloud services with enhanced identity, device and threat protection. For a residential home, it can create a shared workspace with email and calendars, organised documents and clear responsibilities.
We first consider your staff's tasks. Administration, management and care teams do not necessarily need the same applications or access. We use this to design an appropriate licence mix and an understandable working environment.
Nonprofit terms: verify first, then plan
Microsoft offers discounted Microsoft 365 Business Premium to eligible nonprofit organisations. Eligibility of your organisation and intended user groups depends on Microsoft's current terms. Microsoft decides whether the organisation qualifies.
We assist with eligibility checks, review existing licences and prepare a current quote in Swiss francs. Licences, setup, migration, additional services and ongoing support are listed separately, making the actual costs clear.
Nonprofit offers do not automatically apply to every organisation or to the children and young people in its care. We check Teams availability, telephony and other additional features against the specific offer and user eligibility.

From scattered files to clear collaboration
- Outlook and Exchange Online: personal mailboxes, shared calendars and practical role-based mailboxes.
- Teams: communication and meetings with appropriate team structures, where included in the chosen offer.
- SharePoint and OneDrive: organised file storage instead of repeatedly emailing different file versions.
- Access control: deliberately set permissions for management, administration and residential groups.
Confidential case data does not automatically belong in every team. We clarify which content is managed in which application and who may access it. Existing specialist software is considered in the overall design.
Implement, secure and support
We plan email and file migration, prepare accounts and devices, and test the transition with a small group. We then support your team with short practical training sessions and clear guides.
During operations, we manage user changes, permissions, devices and security configuration as agreed. A separate backup strategy defines retention and recovery requirements; synchronisation alone is not a complete backup strategy.

Does every children's home get nonprofit licences?
No. Microsoft assesses the organisation and sets the conditions of use. We assist with clarification and quote only on the basis of confirmed eligibility.
Is Teams telephony included in Business Premium?
External calling needs suitable additional licences and a telephony connection. Teams eligibility also depends on the chosen offer. We list these components separately.
